We’re proud to call Newcastle home and even prouder to serve the people in our community through our family-run business. For us, it’s not just about wiring and switches. It’s about building genuine relationships, showing up when it matters, and treating our own.

Kitson Electric started with a simple mission: to offer honest, high-quality electrical work that locals can truly rely on. From small fixes to big installs, and even those unexpected late-night emergencies, we’re here to get the job done right, quickly, safely, and with a friendly face you can trust.

Thanks so much for supporting a local business. We’re genuinely grateful for the opportunity to work with you and look forward to helping you keep your home or business running smoothly.

Distinguished and Famous people from Palmerston

🏉 Aaron Davey

Aaron Davey progressed from Palmerston football to a long AFL career with Melbourne, debuting in 2004. His speed and pressure around the forward line made him a distinctive player, while leadership and support for Indigenous teammates became important parts of his contribution. The Northern Territory’s football history records Palmerston as his local club. That beginning links the Magpies with a career later followed by supporters across the country. Davey’s influence extended beyond match highlights, through the example and assistance he offered other players finding their way into professional football.

🏅 Alwyn Davey

Alwyn Davey played in two Palmerston premierships as a teenager before further football in South Australia and selection by Essendon. He reached one hundred AFL games, combining speed and sharp skills with determined defensive work. After returning to Palmerston, he won successive club best-and-fairest awards and later played alongside sons Alwyn junior and Jayden. His 2019 induction as a legend of the AFLNT Hall of Fame recognised a contribution extending across both elite and local football. The family story gives the club connection an unusual continuity: one generation’s pathway eventually became a place to share the field with the next.
